About The Sewn-N-Love Ministry
We make, collect, and donate quilts to cancer patients of all ages. Quilts are distributed through chemotherapy treatment centers, hospitals, cancer support groups and to individuals.
The fruits of this ministry are not only a tremendous blessing to those who receive quilts, but also to all who are involved in making the quilts. We need volunteers who can cut out material, piece blocks, add backing and batting, quilt, and finish binding. In return we guarantee that you will be blessed beyond measure.
If you would like to start a Sewn-N-Love group in your community or church, please contact us.

Our Story
Sewn-N-Love began as a result of Sandy Wilson and her best friend Joan Fuller responding to Sandy’s husband, Chuck, being diagnosed with brain cancer in 2001. Sandy found solace in working on hand pieces during time in waiting and treatment rooms. In 2004 the two best friends saw an opportunity to minister to others dealing with the scourge of cancer and they founded Sewn-N-Love. The organization’s signature quilt uses Jacob’s Ladder blocks. “We pray over each quilt before it is delivered to the recipient, asking that God will grant that person peace and comfort.”
Mission Statement:
Our mission is to demonstrate to cancer patients and their family that they are not alone in the struggle against this dreaded disease. The quilts that we give to them are a tangible reminder that others are praying for them and fight a battle similar to theirs. Our quilts symbolically wrap cancer patients and their family in the warmth of God’s Love. An integral part of our mission is to pass on our love of quilts and quilting, while promoting fellowship within the quilting community.
