"Chuck, A Honorable Good Man"
Chuck looked at his diagnosis with brain cancer as an opportunity to reach out to others and co-founded Sewn-N-Love with his wife Sandy. Instead of being mad at God and the world, he asked his family and friends to pray that he would have "peace" with this new turn in his life. Chuck wanted to bring a little of "God's Love" to other cancer patients and their families - both young and old.
The world is a better place because Chuck Wilson was part of it for 65 years. Heaven attained a good man on the morning of July 29th, 2009!
God Bless You, Chuck! You will be missed here on earth. QUILTS, WRAPPING CANCER PATIENTS AND THEIR FAMILY IN THE WARMTH OF GOD'S LOVE.
We make, collect, and donate quilts to cancer patients of all ages. Quilts are distributed through chemotherapy treatment centers, hospitals, cancer support groups and to individuals.
The fruits of this ministry are not only a tremendous blessing to those who receive quilts, but also to all who are involved in making the quilts. We need volunteers who can cut out material, piece blocks, add backing and batting, quilt, and finish binding. In return we guarantee that you will be blessed beyond measure. If you would like to start a Sewn-N-Love group in your community or church, please contact us. See details on our Volunteers and Donate pages, or email us at info@sewn-n-love.org. Thank you for sharing. We are a 501(c)3 Public Charity. All contributions are deductible for income tax purposes. Appropriate receipts will be provided to donors. Sewn-N-Love is an all volunter organization. EIN 20-2832710 |
