HOME"Chuck, A Honorable Good Man"
Chuck Wilson, co-founder and chairman of Sewn-N-Love, lost his long battle with cancer on July 29, 2009. Chuck gave hope and inspiration to many.
Chuck looked at his diagnosis with brain cancer as an opportunity to reach out to others and co-founded Sewn-N-Love with his wife Sandy. Instead of being mad at God and the world, he asked his family and friends to pray that he would have "peace" with this new turn in his life. Chuck wanted to bring a little of "God's Love" to other cancer patients and their families - both young and old.
Chuck always shared a positive attitude and spirit; it was hard not to be infected by his big heart and big smile. Chuck's priorities of God, Family, Country and Serving Others in his personal and professional life was evident in his
everyday endeavors.
God Bless You, Chuck! You will be missed here on earth.
The fruits of this ministry are not only a tremendous blessing to those who receive quilts, but also to all who are involved in making the quilts. We need volunteers who can cut out material, piece blocks, add backing and batting, quilt, and finish binding. In return we guarantee that you will be blessed beyond measure.
